The flat flexible sensor, inductive and cord will work with both sonic tension meter model's. The newer model works same as older model, and even uses attachments. It is easy to identify the 508C model due green keypad, where 507c has a white keypad.

508c sonic tension meter the Gates model 507c meter product number was recently replaced with. The only two functional differences are 508C does not have a low frequency filter, and has 40 data storage registers, where 507c 20.
